Cold Disaster Relief Operation in Thailand

Thank you everyone, for making this possible!

Thank you for sharing your blessings with the poor ....We have collected 530 blankets in total. Know that the joyful light of 530 hearts is possible all because of you.

Remember Jesus said "In truth I tell you, in so far as you did this to one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did it to me." - matt 25:40

What a wonderful way to start our 2009 dear friends..with God in our hearts and a helping hand to those who have little! \o/\o/\o/

God Bless,

Dear Frens,

Thank you to all for responding to my sms on 'Lets hit the ground running... to help the remote hill villages in Thailand hit by the sudden extreme cold weather.

Temperatures dropped to 2 deg c in northern parts of the country.
The small villagers located on the mountains have report temperature reaching as low as minus 3 degrees in one mountain.

In 2 days, we managed to pull together funds to buy about 400 blankets @ $5 each ($2000). I will still be consolidating funds for anyone who would still like to contribute for the next 2 days. Do keep the blankets coming in for the hill tribes around Phetchabun; Thailand.

Let's pray everyone, before we jump into our warm beds tonight that somehow, some way these 400 blankets will bring warmth, life and hope to those who use it. Let's also thank God for all the blessings we have right here, right now, that we have so often taken for granted.

May God's peace and blessings be upon you for all the kindness you have shown so unhesitatingly for the poor.

Many thanks Shayli, Chris Emma Lee, Susie, Kathleen Lee, Brandon Ong, Katherine Chua, Pamela Kwan, Rebecca Soh, YM Wong, Jennifer Chan, Arthur Kang, Tan Guek Hong, Christopher Wong, Jocelyn Wong, Sarah Raman, Paul Raj, Peter Twang, Alice Fu , Nicholas Lim, Robert Tay, Kazim Reza, Sharoniel,Paula Marcondez,Shan Ng, Julie Ng,Aloysius Wong, and some anonymous angels
