Giving Hope & Changing Lives - Update

Dear Frens,

Happy News coming from Myanmar. It has only been a few months and the girls have been studying very hard to hone their sewing skills.

They can now sew shirts, blouses and skirts! Thank you kind donors of Project Kyrie for sharing your blessings and giving these girls opportunities of having a decent livelihood.

When we do not have a dollar, that dollar we really do not have regardless how hungry we are. So my heart felt thanks again for many dreams come true for these 15 girls.

God bless all,
Mill

Giving Hope & Changing Lives

Dear Friends,

The covid19 situation has caused and will cause many people to face financial difficulties.

There have been many calls to the Salesian Sisters requesting for help by priests for girls who can’t afford to pay anything for the sewing course run by the Salesian Sisters in Myanmar.

There are about 15 very poor girls who really will benefit from this life changing skill of being able to sew. We keep talking about teaching people to fish and this is the time we can all step up to support and provide these girls with opportunities to feed themselves and their families for a lifetime.

Anisakan is also close to the golden triangle where there is a lot of drugs available in the area. An uneducated and an unskilled girl in such a village is exposed to many dangers which we can’t even begin to understand.

We can however understand, that with USD $375 a year, approx SGD$536, we can provide for a year of food, lodging, course materials and equipment for a girl to change the path of her life.

Total fund for 15 girls is SGD$8040

If you are keen to make a difference this way, pls contact me.

Thanking you all on behalf of the poor.

God Bless,
Mill

Pls note this is not a public collection of funds. It is an appeal amongst like minded friends.

Giving Education Opportunities to Children Who Would Otherwise Have None

Clare, Pwin Oo Lwin Myanmar

Bosco, Anisakan Myanmar

Bosco is living in a run down shack with his mother and 2 other siblings. He is smart and good at Math.

Clare is living in poverty with no schools within reach for her. As her wonderful God fearing mother is willing to let her go to school and live away from home. We have managed to find donors to help her live and school with the Salesian Sisters at Pwin Oo Lwin.

Many thanks to donors Teresa and Wendy for their kindness to support these 2 children for the yr 2020. We wish Clare and Bosco the very best in their studies. May they find the strength and determination to forge a path out of poverty for themselves and their families.

God bless,
Mill
