Who.We.Are

Project Kyrie
believes that everyone can make a difference in the lives of others so long as we do whatever little we can. It may just be a quick phone call or an introduction amidst busy schedules.

We believe that there are many kind-hearted individuals who would like to help those less privileged but who are too busy with their work and their families to be able to locate where the poor and needy are.

Our mission is to serve as conduits to connect the givers to the beneficiaries. What we do, is to find out and investigate various worthwhile causes and projects for the poor and to present their detailed needs to our network of like-minded friends. Our friends will then communicate these needs to their like-minded friends and so on. With this multiplier effect, we can through God's grace raise the necessary funds or procure effort needed to support the cause.

We believe if everyone can play a part and do a small bit, many will be less hungry tonight. Many opportunities can and will created for hardworking individuals to help them break out of their cycle of poverty.

It is our core objective to teach people how to fish especially through education and acquiring of new skillsets. We believe that poverty need not be the price paid by a child. If he or she has the potential to become a contributing and productive member of society, we aim to give this child or individual, the opportunities and tools required to succeed. When they do succeed, the whole family is helped. They will be pulled out of the vicious cycle of poverty in which they might been in for generations.

Everyone who contributes may keep in contact with the child or young adult who is being helped. They will also receive official acknowledgments and receipts from the principal organisation who is doing the day-to-day work and services provided for the beneficiaries.

The blog below is a list of projects done with the latest entry being the current projects at hand. We do not work on more than 1 or 2 projects at a time.

Once we make the right connections and the necessary funds have been raised and/or correct technical assistance provided (eg. doctors) we will step aside and allow the right people to continue the Lord’s work. For instance, for Don Bosco in Cambodia, teams of doctors are now going on a regular basis without us after the initial visit and introductions... Praise God! \o/ For we are few and the work is plenty. It is indeed miraculous to see a seed grow into a tree with branches and leaves that multiply to provide shade for our underpriviledged brothers and sisters.

Lastly, we call ourselves Project Kyrie...which literally means the Lord’s Project. We believe fearlessly that if it is His Will for a project to be done, it will be done. And ALL GLORY with no exception belongs only to GOD our Father! \O/\O/\O/
