Sharing Christmas blessings with 60 girls at Pyin Oo Lwin for Christmas 2023

I am so thankful and grateful to be surrounded by friends who have kind hearts and have a great desire to share their blessings.

It's so easy for us to just pop online and buy what we need or to hop into a pharmacy to pick up items we need for ourselves and our families.

It takes a special person to be aware that it is not so for many people. They can't afford a bar of soap or shampoo or slippers or even a Christmas meal with an ice cream because they do not live in a country that is peaceful and full of opportunities like we do.

Many thanks to Lena for providing the Christmas meal and to Francesca for the much needed toiletries.

May your love for the girls warm their hearts this Christmas and May your care bring joy to them for the coming New Year in 2024.

We thank Jesus for making it possible for all of us to share our blessings.

We have a simple vision of creating a tidal wave of kindness from a ripple of effort given by busy individuals.

We are a network of friends standing in solidarity to provide support and assistance to the poor.

A little effort by each person can change the life of someone in need positively for a lifetime.

Our mission at Project Kyrie is to support humanitarian relief efforts of NGOs and individuals to make a small difference in the lives of others by facilitating funds and resources to organisations and persons of most need.

Who.We.Are

Project Kyrie

Believes that everyone can make a difference in the lives of others so long as we do whatever little we can. It may just be a quick phone call or an introduction amidst busy schedules.

We believe that there are many kind-hearted individuals who would like to help those less privileged but are too busy with their work and their families to be able to locate where the poor and needy are.

Our mission is to connect the givers to the beneficiaries. We hunt down worthy causes and projects to help the poor and the needy rise out of their difficult situations by enhancing their lives with resources and offering them opportunities to help themselves.

Leverage
We have a network of about 500 friends from all stations in life and of all race and religion. We present the needs of the poor to our network of like-minded friends. Our friends will then communicate these needs to their like-minded friends. We leverage on the strength of our personal and work contacts to help others in need.

In this way, our effort is multiplied exponentially to achieve good for those who have little with very little effort and time from us.

If everyone helps a little, we can achieve much for the poor and the powerless.

Apart from humanitarian aid, we strive to create opportunities for hardworking individuals to break from their cycle of poverty.

Our core objective is to teach people how to fish, through education and acquiring of new skills. We believe that poverty need not be the price, paid by a child. If he or she has the potential to become a contributing and productive member of society, we aim to give this child or individual, the opportunities and tools required to succeed.

When they do succeed, the whole family is helped. They will be pulled out of the vicious cycle of poverty in which they might have been in for generations.

Our Approach
Simple ABC approach to Project Kyrie's type of assistance philosophy :

A : Assisting with Humanitarian aid
B : Building a good foundation through education and skills training
C : Creating opportunities through jobs and small business schemes

Why Project Kyrie?
Project Kyrie literally means the Lord’s Project. We believe fearlessly that if it is His Will for a project to be done, it will be done.
