Dear Frens,

Today it is with a happy heart that I bring to you good news that our solar powered study room and playground project in Myanmar has been successfully installed.

This village that has no electricity and now have it because of you! We have successfully brought the light of Christ in more ways than one to the village of Daw Taw Ku, in the Kayah state.

I wish to thank our many friends for their generous contribution for this project. Special thanks to Jackie Joseph, Claire Chua, Joseph Tan, Albert Foo, Paul Raj, Patrick Chan,Dorothy Lim, Declan Crowe, Nicholas Lim, Judy Flemming, Veronica Liu, Susan Lee and Geraldine Lim.

Many many thanks also to Calvin Tay, Mark Foo, Joseph Tan, Michele Fernandez, Jennifer Loo, Jasmine Foo, Audrey Leong, Susanna Kang for providing the winter wear for Daw Taw Ku and another mountain village,

Also thank you to Marilyn Lim & Shaun Chan for giving up their laptops within a day and to Ignatius Quek for carrying some of the winter wear over to Yangon and last but not least to Valerio Rireh, our volunteer for co-ordinating everything on the ground.

It is truly heart warming to see the adults and children alike coming together to build a better future for their own children. We will continue to fine tune our work in this village by customising the study hall to include a pre school centre for the children, build up the library and to make the inside of the hall cleaner and more equipped so it can be respected in the village as a centre of education and growth for their children.

If our funds allow we will also provide a dynamo for generating electricity for community events like weddings, funerals and other festive community activities and also a guitar for ministry.

As some frens may know if they are connected to Project Kyrie's facebook that I have also come back from Myanmar on another mission to the delta region of Pathein. The region is flooded and it is expected that there will be alot of mosquitoes because of stagnant pools of water. We will prioritise the needs but we are intending to provide 200 youths with mosquito nets through the Canossian mission there.

So thank you to everyone, without your quick response we would not be able to put this together so quickly. Thank you for making this happen for the children and community of  Daw Taw Ku. May God bless you and smile upon you and your family for your generosity.

And most of all to God, Our Father to all, for blessing this project and making it all possible!
All Glory to God! \o/ \o/ \o/

God Bless,
Mill
